Ready for top Speed in 3D Printing

High-quality, high-volume production with the EOS P500

50,000 high-precision, complex, and customizable series components in just a few days: 3D printing at 1zu1 makes it possible—without any tooling costs, from a single piece, and with almost the same precision as injection molding.

As the exclusive pilot customer and development partner of the mechanical engineering market leader EOS, we are helping to shape the future of additive manufacturing ourselves – and offering our customers every opportunity to stay ahead of the curve. Three state-of-the-art P500 laser sintering systems deliver unmatched peak performance for 3D printing on an industrial scale. See for yourself!

Performance, Quality, and Automation

The high-performance P500 system meets all requirements for consistent and repeatable component quality – and does so in record-breaking production times. With a build rate of 600 millimeters per second, the machine is twice as fast as any other laser sintering system available on the market. In the 66-liter build space, 2,400 plastic-compatible sample components with a maximum edge length of 30 millimeters can be printed in just 16.5 hours – that's an astonishing 25 seconds per component.

This makes small and medium series of up to 50,000 pieces economically viable for the first time and up to 30 percent cheaper than conventional 3D printing. The quality also reaches new heights. Two powerful 70-watt lasers, optimized exposure parameters, and a sophisticated heating system guarantee consistent dimensional accuracy of 0.2 millimeters throughout the entire build space. This level of quality and performance is otherwise only possible with injection molding—and even then, only after time-consuming and costly tool development.

Guaranteed Success for small and medium-sized Series

3D printing ready for series production opens up large markets and new opportunities. Those who embrace the technology and take advantage of its design benefits can use 1zu1's complete range of services to create a smooth transition from the first prototype to a marketable product. Dyeing without loss of dimensions and chemical smoothing ensure high-quality surfaces after rapid production.

How and where is 3D printing series production worthwhile in practice? Wherever up to 50,000 components are required. For example, for medical technology products or for flashes of inspiration such as the Fliphead or TEACH.AIR. Powerful, high-quality 3D printing has enabled the rapid implementation and market launch of completely new accessories for musical instruments, for example. 3D-printed parts can also be personalized. Individual adjustments can be made without tools and with little effort.

With us, you can realize unique ideas, gain a competitive edge, increase your efficiency, and bridge the gap to mass production.
